Here is the process I went through while creating my storyboard in Visual Narrative. We worked on this throughout the semester, starting with thumbs and ending up with an animatic. Below are the main characters in the story:
After we had a firm understanding of the story we were going to tell, we made thumbnails of the overarching story.
Next, we chose the most exciting part of our story and rendered it out as big boards:
Finally, the last step in the process was to make any final touches and turn the big boards into an animatic! Here is the final product:
